PETER WHITE
BSc MA Dip TP FRSA, Director
Peter White
is a director of Fresh Life Consulting. He has 27
years of regeneration experience, working mainly in the Midlands area.
Having learnt about project management in the social housing field, he
became interested in economic regeneration in the early 80’s and set up
one of the first enterprise agencies providing managed workspace, which
still operates very successfully.
He has since worked on
many landmark schemes including the Chubb Buildings in Wolverhampton and
the Crossing at St Paul’s in Walsall for which he won a BURA award for
best practice in Urban Regeneration. In recent years he has been
involved in substantial regeneration strategies and physical
regeneration projects requiring detailed feasibility studies, market
research and option appraisals for a range of public private and third
sector clients.
A common theme running
through much of his work reflects his belief that to be really
successful, projects have to find ways of achieving financial
sustainability, giving a degree of freedom to respond to changing needs,
and to draw on the best from the private, public and voluntary sectors,
in meeting their wider objectives.
